The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Entries
Wouda Family
The Gingerbread House is a Whoville house. Max the Dog from The Grinch, is pulling the lights off the house. The Grinch is dressed like Santa because he is trying to steal Christmas. Behind the bending Whoville Christmas tree is a sleigh the Grinch uses to get around Whoville. There is also a sign with arrows pointing to different locations in the Grinch movie.
Bigfoot
The tiny Grinch is messing all the cookies up and stealing all the candy, filling his sleigh with his favourites.
Willow
The cookies were shaped like the gifts the Grinch stole. And some were shaped like trees. I decorated them before I baked them because I had a cold!
Lillian

Eden
A classic sugar cookie decorated with royal icing and edible markers. It’s the Grinch holding a red tree ornament.

The Santa Claus Entries
The Twins
This house is at the beginning of The Santa Clause movie when the old Santa fell of the roof. We made the house not like in the movie to give it a Christmas twist.
Isaiah
This is Santa on top of the house before falling.
The Santa Clause
This is a gingerbread house I made from scratch.I also made the royal icing from scratch. I piped on the royal icing before I glued the pieces together then my sister helped me with the roof and snowflakes. This is a gingerbread house in the middle of winter.
Brooklyn
Ugly Christmas sweaters like Neil and Santa wear in the movie.
Ava and Liam
We made cookies about the movie,.
"The Santa Clause". We based it on the North Pole with all of the elves. In the movie, Charlie gets to see his Dad, who is Santa, in the snow globe. When he misses him, Charlie can shake the snow globe to see where his Dad is.
My brother thought it would be funny to give the elves a mustache or a beard. We gave them different ones. We used chocolate chips for the boots and the eyes. We made 19 small Santas (star shape) and 3 big Santas, 19 elves, and 1 snow globe. We put one small Santa in the snow globe and one big Santa on the platter. We chose our favourite 13 elves for the platter.
Madelaine
I made sugar cookies with a sweet icing glaze. I rolled out two larger cookies and put them together with icing in the middle, and put black icing around the sides and top to make a VHS tape of the movie. I made trees, candy canes, a snow globe (with sprinkles for the snow), and a Santa (with a dark red toy sack). All of the smaller cookies are in the movie, and the VHS tape is the movie.
Abigail
I was inspired by the little girl in the Santa Clause movie giving Santa soy milk on Christmas because he told her he was lactose intolerant!
*Category Winner for Grades 6-9*
Hannah
I was inspired by the scene where Scott Calvin first goes up on his roof after the old Santa had fallen, and he discovers Santa’s sleigh, gets in with his son, and rides off to deliver presents for Christmas day.
Javier
Hi we decided to make a Santa Cookie stars today celebrating St. Nick Day. Pam, my EA, baked these yesterday and we decorated them today.
Elf Entries
Zoey
My cookies represent different scenes within the movie, including the candy cane forest and the narwhal scene.
