24/25 Council Activities
Calling all grade 10-12 students!!!!
Even if you are not taking the student council class, you are welcome to join and support our upcoming committee work for activities, events and fundraisers in our school.
October Committees
Yearbook (Oct-April) We are looking for people to help in the following positions:
Editor-In-Chief: oversees the entire yearbook project, ensuring deadlines are met, sections are cohesive, and final product aligns with the school's vision, managed the team and makes final editorial decisions
Assistant Editor: helps editor-in-chief with decision-making and organization, leads certain sections of the yearbook, takes over for E-in-C if absent
Section Editor grad + grade 10 /11, student life, clubs and activities, sports, academics and more
Layout Designers: work on the visual design and layout, collaborate with the editors to ensure consistent aesthetic
Graphic Designers: Create custom artwork, graphics and visual elements
Marketing and sales: promoting yearbook to students, teachers and parent and organize pre-sales
Financial manager: manages budget, works with marketing editor if sponsorship is used
Look for more information on our other activities and potential ways to support students in the following areas: Pen Pal Program, sugar cookie/gingerbread house contest and the prom uniform cost relief committee.

Community appreciation week, spirit week, cultural awareness week, grad orientation week, graduation ceremonies, yearbook, door decorating contest, 3 fundraising initiatives, contests and more!
