Canadian Universities Event - Online information sessions for students
This year, the CUE 2020 events will be hosted entirely online. There will be live online events for students which will be accessed via the CUE website. They are in the process of rebuilding the website so that it can accommodate these changes, and the new site will be launched soon.
The student events are not school or region specific, so students are invited to register for the date and time that works best for them. Advanced registration for the CUE events is required this year as our web platforms do not have unlimited capacity. The exact details for registration and attendance will be shared closer to the CUE dates.
The CUE 2020 student events are scheduled for:
Monday September 28, 4-8PM Pacific
Tuesday September 29, 4-8PM Pacific
Wednesday September 30, 4-8PM Pacific
Thursday October 1, 4-8PM Pacific
Saturday October 3, 10AM-2PM Pacific
Tuesday October 6, 4-8PM Pacific
Thursday October 8, 4-8PM Pacific
A Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity for Canadian Youth
The Prime Minister is looking for young Canadians between ages of 16 to 24 to advise him on issues that matter to them, their community and youth across Canada. Youth Council members meet online and in person several times a year. They also engage with local and national organizations, meet with policy makers and decision-makers like Cabinet Ministers, and attend public events.
Do you know someone who might be interested in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help build a stronger and more inclusive Canada? Invite them to visit the Prime Minister's Youth Council website for more information and to apply today. Applications are being accepted until August 17, 2020.
Check back in late August for updates about the new school year! We look forward to partnering with you as you work towards completing your Grade 10 - 12 years!
We have a new sub-page under our resources. If you need transcripts and information for post-secondary, please take some time to view this page and video links provided.
